Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services has three girls’ residential campuses in idyllic Sonoma County, CA. Just 30 miles north of San Francisco, Sonoma County is known for its rolling hills, rugged coastline, 50 regional parks, and small-town charm. The three girls’ behavioral health clinics encompass over ten acres, allowing ample space for individual and group therapy, on-site, accredited schooling, and outdoor spaces. Campus amenities include soccer fields, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and the Jennifer Golick Family Learning Center used for music therapy, yoga, meditation, and other experiential therapies. Parents and referents often comment on these incredible settings.
A significant amount of thought goes into our campus settings. For many of our clients, this may be their first exposure to treatment. For some, their first time away from home. When these boys and girls come to Muir Wood and walk through the doors of our beautiful, homelike campuses, these settings help them to initially engage in treatment and the process of healing.”
