Teens at Muir Wood enjoy game night

Conscious Recovery Event

Please join us on Friday, May 13 at 11:30 p.m. (PST) for an informative lunch and panel discussion — “The Intersection of Science and Spirituality for Adolescent Recovery.”

Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services and Conscious Recovery are hosting a lunch and a panel discussion with Dr. Jessica Byrd-Olmstead, TJ Woodward, and Maxwell Keller, LMFT about “The Intersection of Science and Spirituality for Adolescent Recovery.”

In September of this year, TJ Woodard and Dr. Byrd-Olmstead released the “Conscious Recovery Workbook for Teens,” which offers a strengths-based perspective on addiction and addictive behaviors and is intended to be a self-guided tool to enhance the care of teens engaged in treatment. The workbook is available from Amazon.com.

Attending this event is free and you will have the opportunity to hear informed insights from an esteemed panel of experts, ask questions, and mingle with behavioral healthcare peers from across the Bay Area. Please join us Friday, May 13 at 11:30 p.m. at the Lucie Stern Community Center, in Palo Alto, CA.
