The Courier Coordinator is responsible for taking responsibility for the pick up and delivery of essential and confidential items.


Major Task, Duties and Responsibilities for any of the Muir Wood programs: Skillman, Lohrman & Penngrove:

  • Pick up and deliver medications from various pharmacies for clients at each of our programs.
  • Input receipts in RAMP and assign to appropriate clients.
  • Communicate with Operations and Nursing about pickups and deliveries daily, informing the appropriate staff if changes are required for pickups.
  • Maintain a Medication Sign off sheet and list, have nursing staff sign off daily.
  • Run various errands, including shipping discharged client items back home, mailing items and shopping for a diverse range of items as needed.
  • Assist Culinary Dep. with food running to all programs as needed (every Tuesday, minimum).
  • Assist in various administrative tasks to support operations team on occasion, as directed by supervisor Assist with house checks as needed. 
  • This position requires a lot of driving. Must use your own vehicle and mileage is reimbursed at federal standard.

Part time: Mon – Fri,11:30am – 5pm

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have valid California driver’s license and liability insurance if driving a personal vehicle on Center business.
  • Vision, hearing, manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination must be adequate for performance of job duties. Able to sit at a desk, use keyboard, write and physically perform other job duties. Able to move about the facility to observe clients and staff.
  • Specific qualifications may vary based on assignment. The supervisor will initial those items on the following list, which apply and write N/A to indicate those qualifications which are not applicable:

-Class “C” Driver’s License

-Personal vehicle with liability insurance for reimbursable mileage.

The HR Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enhancing our company's workforce by handling all aspects of recruitment and onboarding processes. This position ensures the efficient management of hiring activities, from initial candidate contact through to their successful integration into the company, while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and compliance with organizational policies.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screenings, interview scheduling, communications with candidates and hiring managers, documentation of interview notes, generation of offer letters, and tracking candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Serve as the point of contact for temporary staffing needs, facilitating requests and acting as a liaison with staffing agencies.
  • Organize and participate in virtual and in-person career fairs and hiring events, including preparation activities.
  • Act as the primary contact for candidate onboarding, ensuring a smooth sequence of onboarding events, accurate documentation, effective data entry, and timely communication with candidates, hiring managers, recruiters, and leadership.
  • Uphold the highest standards of customer service, consistently exceeding expectations of candidates, hiring managers, recruiters, and internal partners.
  • Manage the input, tracking, and monitoring of all pre-employment screenings, including background checks, health screenings, DMV checks, credentials, and training requirements, from initiation through ongoing employment.
  • Verify the accuracy of all onboarding forms and documents.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and manage requirements for the first day of employment.
  • Create and maintain employee records within the HRIS system.
  • Adhere to and enforce all organizational practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure confidentiality is maintained with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in regular HR audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of Human resources, recruitment or onboarding experience strongly preferred. 
  • Experience with an HRIS or other HR/recruiting database systems a plus.

  • Conduct new client introduction/check-in to Muir Wood including search of all items prior to admittance and lock up of contraband and medications.
  • Observe and monitor clients’ behavior and intervene based on schedule, individual treatment plans and house needs.
  • One-to-one supervision of clients at risk for AMA, suicidal risk, eating disorders, etc. per directive of the Clinical Director and ensure immediate notification to the Clinical Director when client vocalizes ideations about leaving the residential program.
  • Conduct Urinary Analysis screening and collection when directed by the Clinical Director, following appropriate procedures.
  • Transport clients in company vehicles to and from necessary appointments and off-property outings.
  • Coordinate milieu treatment with Counseling staff (via client record, staff communication, counseling/residential interface meeting).
  • Supervise self-administration of client medications per physician orders and maintain training in medication dispensing per State of California Community Care Licensing.
  • Ensure physical plant safety and security by conducting regular shift checks, fire drills, and disaster drills per Policy and Procedures of Muir Wood and State of California.
  • Ensure transportation safety by conducting van inspections following use of Muir Wood van and following documented safety rules.
  • Follow all emergency procedures including paging protocol, following directives given exactly, transportation protocol, etc.
  • Document services as required by applicable law and regulation, and other duties as assigned to facilitate program success and the ability of residents to benefit from programming.

The Clinical Program Supervisor provides direct clinical service, including individual/family and group psychotherapy, consultations and crisis interventions. The Clinical Program Supervisor reports to the Clinical Director as part of the clinical management team, and assists in the management and quality assurance of clinical services provided by Muir Wood. The Clinical Program Supervisor works closely with the Clinical Director to develop and oversee adherence to the daily program schedule, and serves as a liaison between the support staff and the clinical team to assist in implementation of individualized client support plans.

  • Conduct individual and family therapy sessions with assigned caseload.
  • Complete the initial biopsychosocial admission assessment, develop treatment plans and provide appropriate treatment recommendations based on a review of the client’s history, weekly outcomes and symptoms.

  • Assist in providing individual and group training for the recovery/mental health counselors and care coordinators.
  • Assist in providing clinical consultative support to clinical team members to determine effective evidence-based treatment interventions, support utilization of risk assessment and crisis management skills, and provide guidance on interdisciplinary team communication and collaboration.
  • Responsible for managing all contractors (e.g. experiential therapists, etc.) including scheduling, communication, quality assurance audits, etc. 
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director to oversee execution of the clinical program including the weekly program schedule. It is the Clinical Program Supervisor’s responsibility to help ensure adherence to the weekly program schedule, that all groups and activities are on schedule, and to ensure that group coverage is in place in the event this is needed.  
  • Conduct regularly scheduled audits of group sessions and group documentation to ensure they are compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the PI, QA and UR activities of the facility as directed by the Clinical Director or Chief Clinical Officer.
  • Execute other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director or Chief Clinical Officer.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD), LMFT or LCSW preferred (will consider AMFT, ACSW, or Psychological Associate dependent upon anticipated time to full licensure)
  • At least 2 years of clinical care experience in a residential treatment setting or similar 
  • Experience working with high acuity mental health population 
  • Experience with trauma-informed clinical modalities

The Certified Recovery Counselor is responsible for providing counseling and therapeutic clinical services to patients, providing counseling and linkage assistance within a residential environment, including responsibilities maintaining the program milieu.  This position is also responsible for the overall operation of the facility in accordance with policies and procedures, current federal, state and local standards, including guidelines and regulations governing our facility to assure that our facility is maintained in a safe manner.

  • Attend meetings, trainings and conferences representing Muir Wood as needed.

  • One-to-one supervision of clients at risk for AMA, suicidal risk, eating disorders, etc. per directive of the Clinical Director and ensure immediate notification to the Clinical Director when client vocalizes ideations about leaving the residential program.
  • Conduct Urinary Analysis screening and collection when directed by the Clinical Director, following appropriate procedures.
  • Transport clients in company vehicles to and from necessary appointments and off-property outings.
  • Coordinate milieu treatment with Counseling staff (via client record, staff communication, counseling/residential interface meeting).
  • Supervise self-administration of client medications per physician orders and maintain training in medication dispensing per State of California Community Care Licensing.
  • Ensure physical plant safety and security by conducting regular shift checks, fire drills, and disaster drills per Policy and Procedures of Muir Wood and State of California.
  • Ensure transportation safety by conducting van inspections following use of Muir Wood van and following documented safety rules.
  • Follow all emergency procedures including paging protocol, following directives given exactly, transportation protocol, etc.
  • Document services as required by applicable law and regulation, and other duties as assigned to facilitate program success and the ability of residents to benefit from programming.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Execute additional tasks assigned by supervisor, including overnight duties, if applicable.

Shift: NOC (11pm – 7am)


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, sociology, and/or RADT certified preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for insurance coverage for driving the company’s vehicles
  • Must be First Aid and CPR certified upon hire
  • Prior work experience in behavioral health treatment settings with adolescents a plus

The Care Coordinator is an integral part of the treatment team. The primary purpose of the Care Coordinator is to provide structure, supervision and direction to our clients, promote accountability, and ensure their safety and wellness.

Requirements

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate clients’ daily activities in residential settings including assistance with daily activities, chores supervision, assistance with meal service, laundry, etc.
  • Conduct new client introduction/check-in to Muir Wood including search of all items prior to admittance and lock up of contraband and medications.
  • Observe and monitor clients’ behavior and intervene based on schedule, individual treatment plans and house needs.
