Founded in 2013, Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services provides exceptional treatment for youth, 12-17. We operate 17 beautiful locations in Northern (Petaluma), Central (Clovis), and Southern (Riverside) California. In these comfortable and structured environments, our clinicians help teen boys and teen girls—treated separately— explore and process sensitive issues while learning to manage and overcome mental health and substance use issues. Muir Wood emphasizes kindness and compassion over confrontation and control.

We are accredited by The Joint Commission, licensed by the California Department of Social Services (DSS), certified by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) for residential detoxification and treatment, verified by Psychology Today, and are A+ rated by the BBB. To maintain continuity with home schools, clients attend our on-campus, state-recognized learning program recognized by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
