As Director of Family Services at Muir Wood, Rawly Glass leads the design and implementation of a clinically integrated family therapy program – a core component of our residential treatment model for teens with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders-
that supports teens and their families throughout the treatment journey. He oversees weekly multi-family therapy sessions, psychoeducational workshops, and individualized family support, helping families reconnect, repair emotional bonds, and build healthier patterns of communication.
Rawly’s approach is rooted in empathy, systems theory, and trauma-informed care, guiding parents and caregivers to understand how their own histories, roles, and relational dynamics influence their teen’s recovery. Rawly collaborates closely with Muir Wood’s clinical team to ensure that treatment is truly family-centered, evidence-based, developmentally appropriate, and aligned with sustainable, long-term outcomes. Rawly’s sincerity, obvious compassion, and commitment to the families and teens at Muir Wood make him a favorite at our Family Program presentations.
In addition to his work with families, Rawly plays a key role in clinical training and leadership, shaping Muir Wood’s therapeutic approach to co-parenting, emotional boundaries, and healing family dynamics.
