For 12 years Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services has provided residential treatment for teens, 12-17. We operate 17 facilities in Northern CA (Petaluma), Central CA (Clovis), and Southern CA (Riverside). In our beautiful, and closely supervised homes, we help teen boys and girls overcome behavioral health challenges.
We treat and house teen boys and girls separately. This sets us apart from other centers and eliminates drama, posturing, distraction and attachment that can result in heartbreak. It’s an important feature that you should insist on wherever you seek treatment.
Our treatment programs are accredited by The Joint Commission and our Supplementary Education Program is recognized by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and supports students by working with their home school to preserve continuity.
To help ease the financial burden of residential treatment, Muir Wood is in-network with Anthem, Aetna, Blue Cross, Cigna, Halcyon, Kaiser, Magellan, MHN, TRICARE, United HC, and Optum.
