Muir Wood Adolescent & Family Services is a gender-specific, teens residential treatment program designed specifically for teens ages 12-17 suffering from mental health and substance abuse issues. Located on ten acres and two campuses in beautiful Sonoma County, California, our 16-bed campus program for teen teens a safe and structured environment to explore sensitive underlying issues within a highly credentialed clinical setting. Muir Wood teen rehab provides a gender-specific environment that invites teen teens to build strong peer support essential in early recovery.
In designing the most effective teen rehab for teens, we understand that the treatment needs of boys and girls differ significantly. Our treatment approach combines an exceptional clinical team and treatment practices with other proven therapeutic and experiential modalities.
Muir Wood also offers an outpatient program teen rehab in nearby San Rafael that serves boys and girls ages 12-19 with substance use disorder and co-occurring behavioral health issues. Our highly credentialed team works closely with teens and families to develop an individualized treatment plan that may include group therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, dialectal behavior therapy, and when needed, medication management.
