Paige is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who attended UC Davis, earning her BA in Psychology with a minor in Human Development, before continuing onto CSU Fullerton to receive her Master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration on community mental health. She is passionate about continuing her education and staying current on the latest interventions, having recently completed her basic training in EMDR, an evidence based approach to treat trauma and PTSD.
Paige’s career in the mental health field has provided her valuable experience working with both adults and adolescents with a variety of mental health and substance use diagnoses. Prior to working at Muir Wood, she was the Lead Therapist at a psychiatric hospital, supervising and treating five units of patients and assisting with crisis interventions.
Paige likes to use a trauma-informed and client-centered approach – She aims to provide a safe place for her clients to explore their struggles and provide early intervention to equip them with the skills they need for a successful future. Plus, clients love her Labradoodle, Chip, who accompanies her to work each day!
