Paige is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who attended UC Davis, earning her BA in Psychology with a minor in Human Development, before continuing onto CSU Fullerton to receive her Master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration on community mental health. She is passionate about continuing her education and staying current on the latest interventions, having recently completed her basic training in EMDR, an evidence-based approach to treat trauma and PTSD.
Paige’s career in the mental health field has provided her valuable experience working with both adults and adolescents with a variety of mental health and substance use diagnoses. Prior to working at Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services, she was the Lead Therapist at a psychiatric hospital, supervising and treating five units of patients and assisting with crisis interventions.
Paige likes to use a trauma-informed and client-centered approach – She aims to provide a safe place for her clients to explore their struggles and provide early intervention to equip them with the skills they need for a successful future. Plus, clients love her Labradoodle, Chip, who accompanies her to work each day!
