Larissa received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. She also holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor’s in Psychology. She has worked under the supervision of Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services psychologist, Dr. Barbara Nova, for over two years providing integrative approaches based on psychodynamic relational theory and incorporating cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based techniques. As a Pre-Doctoral Intern at the Community Institute for Psychotherapy, Larissa provided psychological services at various sites throughout Marin County consulting with psychiatrists, psychologists, and school personnel. An integral part of Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services’ psychological team, Larissa is also trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and in evidence-based practices in family therapy. A recipient of the Academic Excellence Scholarship at the California School of Professional Psychology, Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services is honored to have someone of Larissa’s caliber working with our families.
