Boys Dual-Diagnosis (Mental Health & Substance Use) Treatment in Petaluma CA

Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services has four boys’ residential facilities in Petaluma, California. Just 30 miles north of San Francisco, our boys dual-diagnosis program encompasses over twenty-two acres, allowing ample space for individual and group therapy, WASC-accredited academics, and outdoor spaces. The campus includes soccer fields, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and the Jennifer Golick Family Learning Center used for music therapy, yoga, meditation, and other experiential therapies.

A significant amount of thought goes into our campus settings. For many of our clients, this may be their first exposure to treatment. For some, their first time away from home. When these boys and girls come to Muir Wood and walk through the doors of our beautiful, homelike campuses, these settings help them to initially engage in treatment and the process of healing.Scott Sowle, Founder, Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services
